What We Evaluate

ClearChoiceRadar provides curated lists and comparisons of companies in the tax relief, debt relief, and solar industries. When evaluating and ranking providers, we consider a combination of the following factors:

• Range of services offered — e.g., Offer in Compromise, Installment Agreements, penalty relief, debt settlement, solar installation, etc.
• Transparency of pricing and fees — whether the company clearly discloses costs before enrollment
• Years in business and reputation signals — BBB rating, licensing records, and complaint history
• Customer support and onboarding — availability, communication quality, and client experience
• Educational resources — whether the company provides helpful information to consumers
• User engagement — how users on our site interact with and respond to listed providers
• Commercial relationships — whether a company has a paid partnership with ClearChoiceRadar (see below)

Not every factor is weighted equally, and the relative importance of each factor may vary by industry. We do not use a single formula or algorithm that produces rankings automatically.

The Role of Compensation

Some companies featured on our site pay us when users click links, submit forms, or call phone numbers listed on ClearChoiceRadar. This compensation directly supports our ability to operate, research providers, and publish free content.

We believe transparency about this relationship is more valuable than pretending it doesn't exist. Here is how compensation affects our site:

• Paying partners may appear higher in our rankings than non-paying companies
• Paying partners may receive more prominent placement, larger listings, or additional features on their profile
• Companies that do not compensate us may still appear on our site, but their placement may be lower
• We do not accept payment to publish false information about any company

We still evaluate all companies — paying and non-paying — using the criteria listed above. A company cannot pay to receive a specific score or rating. However, you should understand that commercial relationships influence the order in which providers appear.

Our Process

We evaluate companies based on publicly available information including BBB profiles, state licensing records, consumer reviews, company disclosures, and our own research. We aim to present information that is accurate and useful.

However:

• We do not audit companies' internal operations, financial records, or case files
• We cannot independently verify all claims made by companies about their services or results
• We do not guarantee that any listed company will produce a specific outcome for you
• Information may become outdated between review cycles

Rankings are reviewed periodically to reflect changes in the market, company performance, user feedback, and commercial relationships. We label sponsored placements where applicable.
